# Offer Cabin public API

Offer Cabin exposes read-only public endpoints for discovering published offers and directory data. Responses are JSON. Times and dates relate to Sri Lanka time (Asia/Colombo) unless a response states otherwise.

## Public endpoints

- `GET /promotions`: list and filter published offers
- `GET /promotions/featured`: featured published offers
- `GET /promotions/nearby`: offers near supplied coordinates
- `GET /promotions/{slug}`: one published offer
- `GET /promotions/{slug}/reviews`: published reviews for an offer
- `GET /categories`: offer categories
- `GET /merchants`: merchant directory
- `GET /merchants/{slug}`: one merchant profile
- `GET /locations/search`: location lookup
- `GET /sitemap/promotions`: promotion records for sitemap generation

## MCP server

A read-only Model Context Protocol server (Streamable HTTP, no authentication) is available at `https://offercabin.com/mcp`. Server card: `https://offercabin.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`.

Tools: `search_offers`, `get_offer`, `get_merchant`, `list_categories`, `list_banks`, `search_locations`.

## Service status

Protected account and write operations require an Offer Cabin user session. Offer Cabin does not currently advertise a public OAuth authorization server or third-party registration flow.
